Haiku Garden is a band of four dudes from Ljubljana, Slovenia. They play noisy, guitar-driven music with poppy vocal harmonies. Think fuzzy, wall of sound type guitars and ethereal vocals, all with lots of reverb. Sometimes the band throws in some synths, drum machines and other psychedelic sonic elements. Shoegaze, dreampop, psychedelic rock and noise pop are all thrown into the equation.
The band members find themselves in snowy landscapes, where through driving and wandering, they depict the themes of searching, loneliness, and inner struggle expressed in the song. The winter setting and humorous elements create a contrast between the weight of the lyrics and the lightness of the visual approach, evoking a unique winter avalanche of emotions in the viewer. The new single "Avalanš" is Haiku Garden’s first song in Slovenian.
