A gritty, tongue-in-cheek collection of poetry, "Suho grozdje" by Žan Grad reads like a lo-fi snapshot of life in transit, full of deadpan reflections, sharp turns, and existential undercurrents.
To match the raw and fragmented nature of the writing, I designed the chapbook using a collage technique that mixes 2D and 3D elements into a deliberately flat, photocopy-like aesthetic.
Since the printing was black and white, I manually colored parts of the layout with a fluorescent marker — a DIY approach that reinforces the book’s handmade feel and adds unexpected vibrancy, much like the poems themselves.
